Breathing Treatment

Asthma is a chronic condition that affects the lungs and causes tightness in the chest, wheezing, coughing fits and shortness of breath in children. Asthma attacks can be scary for both a child and their parents but can be controlled with the right breathing treatments.

We offer our patients the following breathing treatments for asthma and other conditions that may affect your child’s ability to breathe properly:

• Nebulizer

• Inhaler

• Nasal suctioning

• Oxygen administration

We encourage all parents to ask any questions about their child’s condition or personalized treatment plan during their appointment. We want you to feel prepared, comfortable and confident when treating your child at home.

Medications and Prescriptions

Medications are needed to reduce fevers, treat infections and alleviate pain. Our dedicated team is happy to provide the following medications and prescriptions to help your child feel 100% again:

• Antibiotics

• Allergy medications

• Nausea and vomiting medications

• Pain medications

• IV fluids

If you have any questions about the medications being prescribed to your child, we encourage you to ask during your appointment with us. Our providers are here to provide instructions and tips for comfortably administering medication to your child.
