We founded Care+ Pediatrics Urgent Care, your premier pediatric urgent care clinic located in the heart of Oklahoma City, in 2022. Care+ is one of only a few independent pediatric urgent care clinics in the area, giving us more flexibility in approach to and pricing of your care.
Care+ Pediatrics Urgent Care’s main focus is ensuring your children are comfortable during their visit. Every aspect of our office – from our décor to our staff – is curated to make a trip to the doctor’s a pleasant experience. Our pediatric providers take the time and care to make sure your child isn’t scared about receiving their treatment.
Meet Justin Pespisa, MD
Dr. Justin Pespisa grew up in the suburbs of Boston and attended the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He then moved to Nashville, where he completed his pediatrics residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Following residency, he worked as an attending physician at the pediatric emergency department in the Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. There, he realized the need for high-quality pediatric urgent care centers. In 2022, he moved to Oklahoma City to open Care+ Pediatrics Urgent Care.
Meet Ami Whitley, PNP
Ami Whitley is a pediatric nurse practitioner from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of South Alabama. Prior to becoming a provider at Care+, Ami provided care for pediatric patients at Oklahoma Children's Hospital for nearly 10 years. She treated children in the emergency department and on the medical/surgical floors. She is a strong advocate for parents and the children of Oklahoma.
