Diagnostic Services

If you need urgent care, you don’t have time to run to different locations for scans, tests or blood draws just so we can finally diagnose you. We’ve prepared our office so you can receive the care you need as soon as you walk through the door.

We offer a wide range of on-site diagnostic testing services, allowing your child to get the care they need within minutes and without having to leave the building. Our on-site diagnostic services include:

Digital X-rays

We utilize digital X-rays to diagnose your child’s injury and decide if they need a splint, sling, brace, walking boot or crutches. Keep in mind, depending on the type of fracture, we may need to refer you to an orthopedic specialist or the nearest emergency room for casting.

Rapid flu, COVID-19, RSV, strep throat and mono tests

Care+ offers a variety of tests that can determine whether your child has influenza, COVID, RSV, strep throat or mono. Each of these tests is rapid, ensuring accurate results within minutes.

Blood draws

Blood draws may be necessary to diagnose your child. Each of our blood draws is sent to a lab for testing. Once we receive your results, you can discuss next steps with one of our pediatric providers or bring them to your primary pediatrician for follow-up.

Urine tests

Urine tests are common for diagnosing infections of the urinary tract or bladder. These tests take just minutes to complete and may allow diagnosis and initiation of treatment the same day you visit our office.

EKGs

An electrocardiogram, or EKG, measures electrical signals from the heart to evaluate for certain heart conditions. Your child may need an EKG if they are feeling chest pain or a racing heart.
