Diagnostic Services

When your child isn’t feeling well or has been injured, you don’t have time to drive across town for scans, lab work or testing before you can even get answers. We’ve designed our clinic so you can receive evaluation, testing and treatment all in one place and often within a single visit.

Diagnostic Capabilities

  • Our digital X-ray technology allows us to quickly evaluate injuries such as fractures, sprains or joint concerns. If your child has a fracture, we can help stabilize the injury with a splint, sling, brace, walking boot or crutches as appropriate. Depending on the type and severity of the fracture, we may refer you to an orthopedic specialist or the nearest emergency room for casting or advanced care.

  • When your child has a fever, sore throat or respiratory symptoms, waiting days for answers isn’t ideal. Our tests provide accurate results within minutes, allowing us to begin treatment quickly if needed. Early diagnosis can help reduce complications and get your child back to school, sports and daily life sooner. We offer rapid testing for:

    • Influenza (Flu)

    • COVID-19

    • RSV

    • Strep throat

    • Mononucleosis (Mono)

  • Some illnesses require lab work for a clear diagnosis. Our team performs blood draws on-site in a child-friendly, supportive environment to help minimize stress and discomfort. All samples are sent to a trusted lab for processing. Once results are received, our pediatric providers will review them with you and discuss next steps. You may also share results with your primary pediatrician for continued follow-up care.

  • Urine testing is commonly used to diagnose urinary tract infections (UTIs), bladder infections and other concerns. These tests are quick and often allow us to confirm a diagnosis and begin treatment during the same visit. Prompt testing can help relieve discomfort quickly and prevent infections from worsening.

  • An electrocardiogram (EKG) measures the electrical activity of the heart and helps evaluate certain heart-related concerns. Your child may need an EKG if they are experiencing symptoms such as chest pain, a racing heartbeat, dizziness or fainting. Our team performs EKGs in-office, allowing for immediate evaluation and appropriate next steps if needed.
