On-Site Facilities
When your child isn’t feeling well and your primary pediatrician’s office is closed, Care+ Pediatrics Urgent Care is ready and available to help. Whether you make an appointment to see us or come in the same day as a walk-in, our team of pediatric providers is ready to help assist your child with their medical needs.
At Care+ Pediatrics Urgent Care, our board-certified pediatrician and highly skilled pediatric providers are happy to evaluate your child and provide a diagnosis based on their symptoms and a variety of testing. All of the testing at Care+ Pediatrics Urgent Care is done with the help of our on-site facilities. These facilities allow your child to get the comprehensive care they need conveniently within our child- and family-friendly office.
Some on-site services we provide to ensure your child is healthy include:
Has your child broken a bone? Whether due to an accident on the playground or a sports injury, our team of pediatric experts are happy to help. We provide our pediatric patients with digital X-rays to get a full view of what may be wrong. From there, we can provide your child with a splint, sling, brace, walking boot, or crutches. Depending on the type of fracture, we may need to refer you to an orthopedic specialist or to the nearest emergency room for casting.
If your child is experiencing flu-like symptoms, but you aren’t sure what’s wrong, bring them into Care+ Pediatrics Urgent Care. Our board-certified pediatricians are proud to offer a variety of tests that can determine whether your child has influenza, COVID, RSV, the common cold, strep throat, or mono. Each of these tests are rapid, ensuring you get accurate results within minutes.
Blood draws may be necessary to check your child’s glucose, white blood cell, and/or hemoglobin levels. Each of our blood draws is sent to a lab for testing. From there, you can discuss your results with one of our expert pediatricians or bring them to your primary pediatrician for further treatment.
Urine tests are common for diagnosing urinary tract infections or bladder infections. These tests take minutes to complete and may allow your child to get diagnosed and treated for their infection the same day you bring them into our office.
An electrocardiogram, or EKG, is a diagnostic testing method used to determine electrical signals from the heart. Used to diagnose heart conditions, your child may need an EKG if they are feeling pain in their chest or feel as though their heart is beating quickly.
Treating Your Child with Care
Our pediatric providers understand how overwhelming the doctor’s office can be for some children. We take the time and care to ensure your child is comfortable throughout their diagnostic and treatment process. Our child-friendly office creates a welcoming and warm environment for your child, ensuring they feel comfortable from the moment they walk in the door.
We also share detailed notes from your visit, along with any relevant test results, with your child's primary pediatrician – to make everything as easy and convenient for you as possible.
