Knowing what happens next makes a clinic visit easier on everyone, especially a child who is already feeling unwell. Here is the shape of a typical visit at Care+ Pediatrics.

Before you arrive

You can walk in at any of our three clinics, or save your spot online first. Saving your spot does not book an exact appointment time; it puts you in the queue so more of the waiting happens at home.

During the visit

A provider examines your child, talks through the symptoms with you, and orders any testing that will change the plan. That might be a rapid test for flu, COVID-19, RSV, strep or mono; a urine test; a blood draw; or a digital X-ray. All of it happens on site.

Every part of the office, from the artwork to the way our staff talk to children, is set up to make this feel less clinical. Our providers take the time to explain what they are doing before they do it.

Before you leave

You leave with a clear plan: a diagnosis where we can give one, any prescriptions or treatment started in the clinic, and instructions for home. We coordinate with your child’s primary pediatrician so the visit becomes part of their record rather than a loose end.
