Breathing Treatment

Asthma is a chronic condition that affects the lungs and can cause tightness in the chest, wheezing, coughing fits, and shortness of breath in children. Asthma attacks are not only scary for a child, but they are also scary for the parents as well. However, asthma can be controlled with the right breathing treatments.

At Care+ Pediatrics Urgent Care, we are happy to offer our patients the following breathing treatments for asthma and other conditions that may affect your child’s ability to breathe properly:

• Nebulizer
• Inhaler
• Nasal suctioning
• Oxygen administration

If it’s your first time administering a breathing treatment to your child, you may have some questions. We encourage all parents to ask any questions they have about their child’s condition or personalized treatment plan during their one-on-one appointment with our pediatric providers. Medications and Prescriptions

It’s very common for children to get sick from playing with their friends at school or sharing toys while on a play date. For some sicknesses, medications are needed to help with reducing a fever, suppressing a cough, clearing up a stuffy nose, and more.
